slapcity asked: Hi, my Grandmother just had throat surgery to remove cancer, and she lost a lot of weight, and can only eat things that are smooth, so she has to blend a lot of her food now, and she can't have anything too heavy, or acidic. But were trying to get her weight back up, and I was curious if their was any healthy, but fatty (if you get what I mean? aha) desserts that are super smooth that you can think of or recommend. We've been thinking cheesecake. But we don't really know. Any help would rock!

I’m glad she’s doing much better! Have you thought about puddings, mousses, flans, or other custards? Here are some ideas:

  1. beet pudding -http://thecakebar.tumblr.com/post/52068664300/healthy-geranium-flower-pudding
  2. guilt free chocolate pudding http://thecakebar.tumblr.com/post/19965064449/guilt-free-chocolate-pudding-recipe
  3. mexican tofu chocolate pudding http://thecakebar.tumblr.com/post/16160214927/mexican-chocolate-tofu-pudding-recipe
  4. mango cheesecake flan http://thecakebar.tumblr.com/post/34107208514/mango-cheesecake-flan-recipe-okay-u-guys-this
  5. easy/quick creme caramel http://thecakebar.tumblr.com/post/25352449995/quick-and-easy-creme-caramel-custard-pudding-or

For the recipes that use chocolate you can switch it to using dark chocolate (dark chocolate is considered pretty healthy, much healthier than other chocolates)

Hope this helps! :) xx

The headline is “allegedly” because the evidence is a video that the National Enquirer says they have, but it would be… less than surprising… to find out that it’s true.

Bonus racism: She says the ideal Southern wedding would involve having Black people dress like slaves and wait on the guests! It’s the Apartheid Wedding all over again!

Barbagliata Recipe (Coffee/Hot Chocolate Hybrid)
If there’s time you can’t decide between a cup of coffee and hot chocolate, you might consider this beverage as an option.
What is it exactly? It’s freshly brewed espresso diluted with milk and water, lightly sweetened, and with added cocoa.
Barbagliata can be served hot during winter, or chilled and poured over ice during hot summer days.
But either way, I recommend serving it with cocoa nib-infused whipped cream; it makes a world’s difference.
I would say it serves 4, quite generously

Heh. Yes. Here, would you like a cup of tea? Via cecaeliasINSPIRATION tea party

welcome to the tea party. pastries are stacked upon silver ornaments, teacups are filled with a plethora of wondrously colored liquids, and flowers frame the scene. at the center of the table sits a young girl, with rosy cheeks and hollow eyes as she sips her own drink, dead to her surroundings. as you approach the table, her gaze locks with your own and a small smile graces her lips as she tells you she has been waiting quite a long time for you to arrive. feeling your body force itself down into the chair across from her, a steaming drink is brought to your lips, and with that first sip, you feel your muscles stiffen as your vision fades. there you are trapped, forever a guest of the deadly tea party, waiting for it’s next victim to come so that you can be released from its spell.

Creative people are ahhhhmazing :D

Nothing says summer like a tall, cold glass of strawberry lemonade. Today I’m going to share with you my recipe for Strawberry Lemonade Syrup that can be frozen into ice cubes or stored in the fridge. If you add the syrup or cubes to sparkling water (or sparkling wine) it makes the most delicious summer drink. http://www.sewcreativeblog.com/fizzy-strawberry-lemonade-cubes-syrup-recipe/
