I’m kind off a fitblr, who also love to create beautiful food (especially desserts and sweets) for my friends and family. I often use #thecakebar for recipes and inspiration, so I was very happy when I scrolled down to a healthy, protein packed recipe which looked delicious! And it sure did’nt disapoint when made. Even my boyfriend, who is’nt quite a fan of healthy food, loved it. but no way near as much as i did!
recipe found at amazing #thecakebar:
these look just like the recipe! I WANT! very yummy looking too! <3
Made this semi-Chevron cake to break in my new KitchenAid Mixer. I had most of the ingredients on hand so it seemed like the best plan. Instead of white chocolate for the filling, I made a chocolate whipped cream. I also went with blue lines instead to go with my new baby (mixer, not child.)
This is my favorite submission of the year. She even has the a blue kitchenaid like me! and btw…. congrats on the baby! I love this so much! the cake looks like a work of art!

I love when the people that make cool things on the internet actually go through the trouble of showing us how they did it.

The Bad about this drink:
Angel Food Cupcakes (a healthier alternative)
Don’t be fooled by the delicious looking cupcake. This cupcake is actually a very healthy alternative to regular cakes/cupcakes!!!
Angel food cake is a butterless cake. It’s a sponge cake that anyone watching their figure can enjoy and still have control over calories! (this recipe is especially great for portion control since it’s a cupcake!!!)
If you want to add a little more ‘fun’ to the angel food cake you can serve it with syrup toppings, whipped cream, fresh fruit, fruit marmalades, ganaches, ice creams, sorbets, frozen yogurts, greek yogurt etc etc… In other words it’s easier to keep count of calories/fat because the toppings are separate/on the side!!!!
BE CREATIVE with your toppings but lets keep our summer weight goals in mind too…….cuz you know it’s bathing suit season!!!!
Homemade Marshmallows Recipes
