This is interesting to me. This is the second time I run into a crepe with a whole flan/giga pudding in it. Is this a new asian trend? I like asian food trends :s

Mango Cheesecake Flan! (recipe)
Okay u guys, this is very exciting to me! I’ve posted several recipes for Flans/Giga Pudding/Quesillos but this one is infused with Mango and is made with cream cheese!
My favorite Flan recipe (the basic recipe). That’s the one I always give out but that one has no cream cheese so it’s not a quesillo…. but it’s my favorite. This one is on my to do RIGHT now list :)

I did it in the oven instead of the microwave because the microwave instructions didn’t work well with my microwave settings
in the oven I used 350F setting and plus I did the caramel sugar for the bottom which is not in that recipe
- a few tablespoons of water
- let it cook on stove on high until it is medium brown (or until you smell the caramel)
- then put the caramel at the bottom of your pan and then add your flan mixture on top and bake for 30-40 minutes - could be more or less (depending on how big your pan is) you have to really baby sit it.
you’ll know that it’s done when you put a clean knife in the middle of the flan and it comes out clean without smudges of the flan
